Now is the time to say that we all owe a debt of gratitude to Nearly Man, who is the artist who did this watercolour, and you will be surprised how stunning it is. He and I were with the printer last week and he was so impressed he just looked at it as I did and couldn't say a word. Bill Beck, the printer, is going to do a print run of 1000 copies and will destroy the plates after it is complete.
The original Test Pilot Roland 'Bee' Beamont will sign 360 of them and I hope to get the Deputy Chief Test Pilot, Jimmy Dell, to sign them also as a limited edition. Nearly Man will also sign them of course. The finished product will be superb and we have decided to sell the signed copies for £75 each and the unsigned for £15 each. A bargain whichever way you look at it. The fund will benefit by your own arithmetic. Thought you would like the pleasure of doing that!!!!
10W has done a great job but make no mistake the finished article will be - if you scale it - be about six to eight inches longer and 4-6 inches higher.
