Well, I'm sure the CVR transcipt is as authentic as Art Bell's ghost images and UFO pictures.
Actually, this incident at EWR happened after the throttles were pushed forward while working on one of the pilot seats at the gate. Shift change, then the next card called for an engine turn at idle thrust.
Or so I was told <g>...
