I am utterly ashamed and frankly disgusted at this decision, and I am unable to put into words how strongly I feel about this.

Gentlemen if, like me, you are going to contact the Royal Family, might I just suggest that we keep it brief, to the point, sensible and above all else, civil.
I hope very much that if we send enough e mails or letters, that someone might just have a quiet word in the right place to overcome this beaurocratic nonesence, and offer this fine, honourable and distinguished gentleman a place to live out the final years of his life. Its the very least this once-great nation can do for him now. How very sad and ashamed I feel right now.
