Abviously your friends don't know how to look for jobs. Few agencies are hiring with low time and TR. I'm not going to mention any, because I don't trust agencies.
Anyway change the subject a little bit, I remeber when the DGCA open the FO doors for forigners in October or Novemeber last year, the indian carriers required 1500tt and 500 on type for expad FO. It seems that they are having problems to find pilots with that time to fly in India. 6-7 months later the minimums are just getting lower and lower.
