May I give the last two posters a reality check. Do you really expect RE to give SNN/DUB a third go. On the last attempt they did actually give tickets away and there was still no takers. OK lets say they go in with the intention of making it work, and staying at it for the long haul (oops short). If in a million they did make it work and it began to make some sort of contribution, bet you any money MOL will step out and say 'I'll have a piece of that'. As he has virtually everything else out of SNN so let FR do it, RE have enough on their plate at the moment. It is not convenient enough for the catchment area. It's too far to travel from Limerick, by the time pax got to airport checked in cleared security, the train would have them there. Shannon has really got it itself into a corner what with the bilateral vanishing and the almost total dependency on Ryanair, and the growth of the regionals. Not even the power of SAAs strategic thinking (hmmm) can intervene on this one. DAA wins again!
