To continue the slightly off topic topic. The rise was considerably more than 4 yrs inflation and I see no increase in productivity. Now if I got reinstated by an employer and then told him I wanted a 40 grand rise I think his attitude would be very much in line with mine.
I didn't approve baldy's payrise either.
Like I say, company transport for company business. If you start treating them like VIP's they might get start getting the mistaken idea that they are important. And like all of us....they aint.
