I read on COPA that Alan Klapmeir of Cirrus stated in a press conference at Sun n Fun that Cirrus has no plans at all to use a diesel, because the engine is too heavy and too hard to cool. This was in answer to a question about the
recently announced EASA STC for installing a Thielert V8.
