You asked about the course well here goes :

First 10days are Customer Service. On the first day you have a test to proove you did your 30hrs of pre course homework! Quite straightforward but you must do the work. After that you are shown aircraft layouts ie where the galleys loos and wardrobes are and how many pax on each aircraft. Every night you have homework. During day some role play, pick up uniform, and how to wear it correctly. There is a strict points system in place ie: if you're told it's jackets on all day you must wear your jacket anywhere outside the classroom (in the canteen for example) otherwise you'll get a point...and points mean you'll get kicked off the course.

After that its AVMED which is tough and you must pass but the trainers are fantastic and get you through.

And then it's the really serious stuff SEP. Fighting fires, jumping down slides, splashing round Hounslow swimming pool, loads of role play ...very serious. Once again no margine for error. Instructors brilliant and if it's your kind of thing then its fabulous but for me it was the toughest part with loads of homework and drills to be learnt. Once again masses of homework.

Back to Customer Service for a week with lots of exercises in the mock up, lots of role play again!!!!! At the end a very tough exam to show you've been paying attention for the last 5 weeks!

Was tough with loads of pressure but met some great people and made loads of new friends.
