OK, let us put this into perspective.
The majority of us would hope that Manston does well and succeeds as a commercial enterprise.
The "Old and cynical" amongst us have seen airlines and airports come and go, I personally would love to see any UK aviation enterprise do well and be a success, not particularly for the owners, but mostly for the local people.
I for one, as has been said, would love to be proved wrong, but I can't see that the current owners can continue to pump money in with no realistic return in the forseeable future.
Infratril are not Ryanair,BP or BAT, they don't have unlimited funding or the ability to cross subsidise and I think we have to realistic.
Lets hope all will come to fruition and keep the place going, perhaps, unlike the previous hopeless shower, the current Investors are in a position whereby it would cost more to pull out than stay there for the long term, I don't know, nor do I suspect does anyone here.
