It must be obvious that there has been a major paradigm shift with respect to on board aviation security. Perhaps it is time to ask why ANY access to the flight deck from the cabin is necessary? Will the A380 and Sonic cruiser have a crew only door that leads ONLY to the flight deck? If not, why not? How about some lateral thinking on this ?
