Torres...those trees are much bigger now!!! A few years back we used to all gather on the tarmac for the morning "Show time" a PA31-350 used bring in the papers and the fog would be still around some very interesting approaches,sometimes they would use a Metro....one day he touched down a good way up the strip thought he going deliver the papers straight to the sellers outside the post office....one lucky Chieftain pilot after having dropped off the papers was on the take off run when one of the engines decided to go bad.. managed to pull up before the end would have been interesting had it occured at 100ft.
