Lining up:
STRIP
  • Strobes - Turn on
  • Transponder - Switch to 'C'
  • Radio - Make call before entering active (if appropriate)
  • Instruments (Altimeter, Gyros and Engine)
  • Pitot Heat (if appropriate)
