It is unbelievable that they ask so much for a type rating, as if the cost to have basic training is cheap .. to expensive! It is a shame that people ask so much (myself paid type rating in Slovakia back in 2003 on B737 for only 6600 euro for simulator, the rest was investment from company to fly for them and they had to pay, of course!!)
