They always find a way to charge the Brits for these things. £50 + non refundable in any circumstances booking fee (would not be fair, apparently) to watch it from the stands on Sunday in London. Think it's £40 just to stand on the river bank
Redbull built a new Runway for the Navajo indians just so they could use it for the race at Monument Valley! Amazingly generous if you ask me.
I guess the previous strip which has a cliff at the end of it, one that goes up into the air, not down into the ground, wasn't up to scratch. One way runway with no nice go around possibility if you are landing.

Superb location but in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely have to fly in, even then it's in the middle of nowhere, not even VFR flight following around those parts, and only electronic navigation is via GPS.
