This is a very real problem and an on going one at Flybe on the 146. Crews are continuing to be admitted to hospital after an event on a regular basis.
The Cocktail of chemicals that invade your body are unbelievable, with most of them known carcinogens. We have several Pilots who have lost their medicals over this. We also have a very disturbingly high rate of miscarriages and premature births/ defects amongst our female cabin crews.
SQP1, count yourself very lucky that you are not affected.................Yet.
