I'm afraid you are talking out of your arse man!
For a start, BA Cityflyer has NEVER operated out of Birmingham. (It is an Edinburgh airline!) Secondly Bacon, inspite of it's managerial faults, was a very robust (operationally) airline, with a very good record of punctuality.
As somebody who has frequent, recent SLF experience of Flybe (NOT through choice!) It has been a very poor service.
I'm not surprised customers are disappointed! They WILL make future choices based on current experience.
