What is a good response when asked to describe the role of a first officer?
To be totally honest I'm not too clear about who does what tasks when flying multi-crew.
I'm guessing that if the captain flies the plane one sector, then during that time the FO maybe does the radio, checks the computers for whatever you're meant to check
, does calculations etc? I could really do with someone giving me a good description of who does what!
