I know exactly how you feel. However due to our schedules and times away from home it can be equally difficult to meet somebody nice outside the industry.
Being from the continent doesn't really help in my company. Most of my fellow countrymen earn themselves a 'good' reputation within the company.
So apart from battling the 'being flightdeck' curse i also needed to battle the 'foreigner' curse.
But hey, as they say. What goes around comes around. And some of my fellow countrymen have found this out already.
Personally i prefer to go home after a trip and being met by the woman that i love, instead of doing my best to get a s**g on every trip.
