I joined as a cadet. I'm about to unfreeze my atpl. It took me 18 months. I am paid the same as a direct entry F/O - i.e. the cadet basic plus £12,000 a year to cover the loan repayment. Add £12,000 to the cadet basic and guess what? Oui mon copain, it's the same basic as a direct entry F/O!
