Whereas all of these direct with a stopover flights may be inconvenient for the passengers I am sure that they ensure that King Tom continues the make pretty good sums of money...the policy of reducing his risk by increasing his options has been ongoing. I realise that there is an element of commercial sense in this but a good deal of the culture put forward by GSM in their press is that they are there to serve the cities they fly from...this is clearly not true...they are there to make money and if they don't they pull out at short notice.... commercially very sensible but the partial cause of this unholy mess!
