The simple answer is that experienced pilots WILL not tolerate being used as pawns in some HR department game of twister,
They will not get down on hands and knees and play 'lego' to show team skills when they have been doing the job for a long time.
the problem with Britannia/tui/whatever the hell the next name is that they have always been viewed as an arrogant airline, the attitude has always been that they are cream of the charter industry....well, I will say their T+Cs are good but they fly the same aircraft as many other companies so big deal.
