May I add my support to JF's observations (even if, on occasion, I irritate him) while empathising with GTE's concerns.
This forum I see as a very convenient access to the serious end of doing strange and interesting things and for seeking out the advice of people well versed in native tongues and customs. Quality rather than quantity ought to be more than a reasonable goal. If Danny is prepared to tolerate the situation, then we are all able to benefit.
The tech forum attracts a far wider audience, some of whom know what they are talking about, others who are not so fortunate. Of the latter, there are those who have an interest in learning and those who, sometimes, are a distraction.
Many of the remaining places to seek entertainment are, often, little more than that - not a criticism, merely one chap's observation - and I derive more than a passing value from all three areas.
