Sorry, but i have absolutely no understanding for all this security bull
for us crews. We've been through hundreds of security background checks before we get an airport or company id.
Now that you mention it, that's one of the areas where they've also got blinkers on. I did a UK security check which was absolutley worthless because they only checked UK records and I've never, ever lived in the UK!
Attention to detail whilst losing the big picture is just stupid.
Aslo, to HZ123, when I said 'fear and stupidity' , I didn't mean the security people, I meant the forces driving the whole security culture. It's short sighted, it's narrow minded and it's going to take us all somewhere we'd all rather not be at the end of the day.
At least I'd rather not be there. You can go where you'd like! Oh wait, you won't be able to..
