Couldn't agree more; there's more than enough going on at BD to pack out a complete programme, so why the "here's the best of the rest of the series" filler pieces? :-(
Also, the fat stuff and rotes have a heck of a lot on at the moment, so even walking around aircraft in the hangars (avoiding if one must the expense of flying and hooking up lipstick cameras) would have given Jo and Joe Public some idea of what their Petrol Duty is being spent on
The MAR work at BD seems to get short shrift too; OK, new and sexy R&D stuff is v. interesting & photogenic, but so is a lot of the work the old A&AEE types get up to!
The FTE's role would be a good one for TV to focus on some time, rather than yet another tp on the screen
- we might even get some recruitment out of it so long as they don't mention the money!
EX-FTE, I wonder if we've met? It certainly seems from other posts that you and I have similar aspirations and have been in the same part of the world at the same time before now!
