Sorry if it is a stupid question, but has been long on my mind, so I'll just ask.
I'm wondering how much are computers used when landing the common jets (Airbus 320/319, Boeing 737s)?
Is it possible to just set up some sort of a glidepath etc. and push a button and not even touch the yoke to land the plane - and drink coffee instead
?
If it is - is it common to do so?
