Eye tests done include far vision, colour vision and depth perception. It's a lot like the initial medical process.
I think having good grades is a measure of your ability and discipline. In my humble opinion, these are traits that every pilot must have. Graduating with honors may not seem to be important, but it won't hurt to have additional 'impact' points during your interview.
A tip that might help other applicants is focusing on one stage of the process at a time. Think positive but always be prepared for the worst, life will be a lot easier.
