This range of clothing is literally appalling. As with another poster above, I am not a pilot, But had to EARN my cap badge, and am very proud of it, and what it stands for!.
This leaves me wondering quite what the brevet will stand for soon. As far as I'm concerned, it stands for a career earned with a group of professionals, whom honour (yes honour), high standards and a sense of loyalty and duty are a very real and daily part of life.
But I fear that it won't be too long before this once treasured symbol may become a "hoody" icon, and am not relishing the day when some ex battle of Britain pilot gets mugged for his pension, by a group of lout's bearing pilots wings.
Sorry to predict the worst, but hopefully you will follow just how much of a bad idea I think this all is.
