are there any concessions given to the course you have completed?
i know in my course there is a publically known failure rate of an average of 8 subjects throughout the course. which is kind of stupid when you think of it. since the course only accepts the top 5% of the state, and then in that percentage who do go on to study the course, there is a significantly high failure rate, as well as a significantly higher drop out rate. Of the 60 people i started my course with, only 6 are due to finish on time, another 4 next sem... and the rest staggered on to further years...
also, should you have graduated with honors, would that be of an advantage at all? or would it make no significance what you studied, and where. I was just wondering if standards were taken into consideration. also, with many carrer opportunities in my industry, people seem to use their final year thesis projects as a platform. now, does pal consider the same? or do thesis projects regardless of cost/matter make no impact? haha just wondering, cos im in the final stages of thesis completion, and was wondering if i should pitch it a little to impress the airline execs, rather than industry engineers.
