I'm not sure in what context you think the Boeing versus Airbus 'argument' should come up? That's a frivolous argument for the bar and for slow days on Pprune! If you wish to educate yourself on the technical differences between the two so that you can hold an intelligent discussion on the topic, that's a different matter - and such knowledge can reasonably be expected of an applicant to a company that has, for example, left the Boeing fold for Airbus (easyJet) or flies both types in similar roles and routes (British Airways).
