Here's some more info to share with you all:
The company is still trying to get the senior cabin crew (especially the non-locals) to take unpaid leave so the hourly paid cabin crew can be utilized. Unfortunately many of the juniors leave in no time and they are having a jolly difficult time to recruit.
Paid is horrible so dont expect much - training is at the bare minimum and more so as a tick in the box. They still expect the same level of service for min. pay - good grief - they are not gonna get it unfortunately. The quality and product has changed - it's simple economics but the company is too arrogant to recognize that.
SIN based cabin crew I was told will only take home about $2500SGD/month and I'm sure you'll have to work really hard for that.
Nevertheless, it can be good gaining some experience and it's always a plus to have CX on your CV for future career goals!
