If the manufacturer wants to call it Electronic instead of engine it's up to them.
I know of one type where the engine manufacturer calls it FAD"Engine"C and the airframer calls it "Electronic".
Whatever the ACRONYMS list in your book says then thats what you should call it. It's not something to loose sleep over. Is it?
