You miss the point. Just because you enjoy Dubai and feel treated well does not translate into comparable working conditions for the desperate workers from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Dubai is a stunning sight. Snow in the desert, the richest horse race in the world, tall buildings, modern everything. If you like working there you are indeed lucky. But do not translate your fortuitous employment terms into a political statement for South Asians. The UAE does not "try to do something positive for their citizens", they literally "buy their loyalty". With crude at US $ 60/pb they can "play" as they wish. Yet, they still dress their women in black beekeeper outfits, buy their brides and discard them at will. It works for them, but it is not a blue print for us.
