Having misread the banner on the said RAF Careers website, which I initially thought read "Group Captain Suave
is (rather than
vs) a large monkey", my vision has now improved and I see that the "GC" seems to have undergone an incomplete transfer from the US Army Air Force (vide the lapel badges and the American style salute). Not to mention a total lack of scrambled egg on his cap
and the all important brevet....

PS Or is it a naval style salute, borrowed in a laudable, but badly aimed, attempt to benefit from recent positive Senior Service publicity?
