Let it compact the folders and it will stop nagging you, otherwise use the OE tool available here:
http://www.oehelp.com/OETool/Default.aspx, this will give you the option ot reset the counter too zero after compaction which the standard compaction notice will not do, or reset it using the regedit mentioned in the article posted in the last entry.
