I thought with the large manpower pool to be established in base maintenance after the sydney review that this flexible pool of labour could be used for h245 super A checks. this was cox's plan all along or am i giving him to much credit
The precinct review in Sydney will free up a bit of manpower, maybe as much as 50 people but that is now where near enough to do small heavy visits like "Super A" checks yet alone the D checks which are required in the next 24 months. Don't forget big M wants dedicated crews for the new fleets 380/787 so he has to find manpower. I doubt he will let his valuable manpower pull the clown whom closed heavy maint out of the sht.
You have creditted Cox way to much. IMHO its QF jumping on the outsourcing band wagan way to late.
