And where will they find the employees to staff the facility once more??? All those that left Qantas Heavy either moved on to other areas, or bitterly left Qantas without any good will. Qantas burnt their bridges with Sydney Heavy staff. They were never given an opportunity to "bid" for the outsourced (Avalon) work. I seriously doubt that any will want to return. As for Brisbane doing 747's, they managed the 737 well and there is a hell of a lot of 747 experience up there.
