More importantly the 73-3 can do ML-PH with a full load at virtually any time of the year, like all aircraft when PH has its fog nights/mornings can get a lot more problamatic.
Probably not a consideration due noise but SY-PH would at times keep the crew well awake doing re-calculations.
And all for $120,000 (Kiwi??) in the middle of the night!
