Are not these guys bound by any stabilised approach criteria? Clearly a
3000 fpm rate of descent at 200 feet screams "here comes the crash". Can anyone enlighten us on whether Garuda must be established within stabilised approach criteria by 500 feet?
Also how about the air traffic controllers? Surely they would have observed the erratic descent profile? Was anything said? Or perhaps erratic descent profiles are the norm??? Just wondering..................................
