The union recognition thing will first of all depend on getting as many pilots as possible on board. After that, it's a simple vote among BALPA members wether we want our union to do the negotiating for us. If the majority of votes cast are "yes", then that's it - whenever RYR come to us with their new "Fantaistic

Paydeal", the reply will be a polite "Talk to BALPA, please".
When BALPA then - predictably - are turned away @ the doors of the White House, they will get back to the pilots with a request for proposals for a reaction to the unwillingness by RYR management to talk to our chosen representatives. It does not take great imagintion to see what we'll deem a fail, balanced & proportionate reaction to RYRs actions
