Mr Briggs seems to get a lot of negative comments here and people with personal issues are voicing their views again. I also did my cpl/ir at AAA and yes it is more expensive than other schools and Mr Briggs does seem to have only one method of teaching which does and will not suit everybody, but I believe that you leave AAA as a prospective productive FO as opposed to someone who can fly an ILS. A few recent FO's have really struggled making the transition to RHS at Eastern and others who have been there a while with instructing experience are under performers. All this boils down to the quality of training you have received before hand. I know AAA hurts in the pocket but when those LPC/OPC's come around, you know where that extra money went. As for what does Mr Briggs know about being a First Officer... He's probably forgotten more about flying than most people on here will ever know
