Whirly I had the matter taken out of my hands - in fact it never really got into them. The examiner marking the paper noticed the errors, took the paper to the CFI and asked him the questions (without letting him see the published answers) and he came up with exactly the same answers as I had done. The result was an immediate call to the CAA followed up by various bits of correspondence and the offending questions were apparently altered. I love your suggestion of what should be done to the person who set the questions in the first place, it's an excellent idea.
