Yeah but the "4 Engines... " thing was a prod at (an)other carrier(s) going with twins for L/H stuff (ETOPS). My point being that by buying 787s, they will be using 2 engines 4 long haul.
And so what? VS played the game with Airbus at the time and now their strategies have changed in an evolutionary industry.
If they see the 787 as the way of the future for their business then so be it. if they score a few green points along with it then thats a bonus we can all live with cant we.
