Had quotes from a few managers refering to recruitment. In short yes they will recruit this year however they might not be employed under the current EBA.....ie AWA's. A second officer meeting last year with the Mainline boss suggested this.....I suppose will have to wait and see with multiple EBA's up for negotiation it will certainly be interesting. It's such a shame Aussie pilots who aspire to fly for our national carrier who slug it out, make it through the door to get this s.it thrown in their face.
