Mcgoo, how I love our little arguments.
How many people are confronted by muggers each year who say "give me your flying logbook or else"? None, a flying logbook is worthless to anyone else apart from the owner. How many say "hand over your mobile phone" Many.

Personally I use my excell spread sheet and a paper logbook, so that if one gets nicked/ lost I will still have a record of all my hours. I think that is the best system.
What will Mcgoo do if on the way home from flying he is mugged at gun point for his mobile and then that evening his computer crashes and looses all data due to a virus it has picked up through his looking at internet pornography sites? All of Mcgoos hard earned flying down the drain!

Quoute Mcgoo: "Also i'd be very surprised if you can program Excel in one hour to do everything that Logbook Pro does, if so congratulations, new business on the cards!"

So what exactly does Logbook Pro do then that is so special? Excel can be programmed to record and tot up hours in different ways, eg night hours, multi crew hours, mep hours, hours on different types etc in a matter of minutes. What more would you want a logbook to do?

I accept that some people might not have excel, however it can be downloaded for free from numerous places.

I have still not had any requests for BaboonLog, so I am cutting the price to 5 bananas.
