with all due respect Peashooter, it is now the time to remove this kind of Practices and tradition in this Job. Maybe worthwhile doing in the Military, but not in Civilian Aircrafts anymore.
It doesn't really help in terms of CRM, and doesn't help at all in avoiding incidents.
If I were a part of the recruitment panel, i will fail right away those who will answer me...
- "I cannot afford Sir!" - meaning cannot even Challenged a Captain in times of wrong decision making.
- "No relation Sir"- what a liar, everyone knows who your dad is
the good thing is, I am not.
