Hi. Not a Pilot myself, but was talking to one today. Says he flew hueys in Aus Military. This i Do not doubt.
But I was asking Him about Transverse flow and such, and i mentioned how my Little RC heli has a High RRPM 2400 to 2800 (It is Little) and he mentione that the Huey hey flew had a RRpm of 250 odd. then he corected to 350 odd. then he corected to 3000 something. (At this point, I just said in total disbeleif, Naooo. As if to say. You must be kidding. Then he sait it was 6600) then the Captan Checked if he was talking about Rotor RPM he said. yeah. I said (Naoooo)
I think he must be Kidding or mistaking something else for RRPM (Prior to this. he knew me as they guy who flys Modle heli and Aero, so we got talking) Could you clear this up.

I searched Rotorheads for a couple of Hours. and the Net netted nothing but %'s..
