I wonder why there so little use of D-ATIS and DCL worldwide, especially at busier ATC environments.
Separate ARR and DEP (D-)ATIS as well. It makes life easier for the flight crew too.
Back where I used to work it was implemented 6 or 7 years ago!
Here at Abu Dhabi (OMAA), UAE the ATIS is still being pre-recorded by an ATCO!!!
