Walking out gave them the excuse to knock the meetings-idea on the head, and thereby avoid ever having to face a decent number of "lazy pilots" ever again
Precisely, they where looking for an excuse, if it had not been this one, they would have found another. Furthermore it si their job to manage us, not get upset and spit the dummy, when they can't hold the attention / respect of their employees. They get paid the big bucks and high percentile shares of the profit share to be able to manage us. We on the other hand get our T&C's hammered to achieve their huge bonuses.
