As the a close relative of a member of the airside crew on the day (shift) of the event - please be assured that the gentleman driving the truck was dismissed from the business fairly and subseqent representations to the press were as a reacion to the sacking.
A gross error to SOP's on the ground was not tolerated by anyone at CVT.
He's gone.
The issue at Security was confused because the person (a woman) had a anti rape device on her and the ground staff were unsure as to how to handle the compressed gas device.
