Yes I know about these low hour pilots Semper Fi. Most of them are flying with LCCs in Europe. These people pay for their own type rating and on some occasions pay for their 500 hours as well.
If Cebu Pac will adopt this then their minimum requirement for hiring FO's will be 200-250 hours. If they would really go this low, I'd like to hear what their insurance company would be saying.
Hopefully they ( CIA )can live up to their end of the bargain otherwise these kids would end up with a huge debt without a job.
